The CA-2000 sits at the top of Yamaha's revered CA integrated line, the bigger, brawnier sibling of the CA-1000 and the amp Yamaha built by feeding its B-1/C-1 separate-amp know-how back into an integrated. Like the rest of the Natural Sound family it flips between Class A for pure, low-distortion listening (2x30W) and Class B for muscle (2x120W), but here with more power, a beefier 21kg build, and a phono stage borrowed from the high-end C-2. Golden-era Japanese hi-fi close to its peak: silver faceplate, dual VU meters, wood cabinet, and that unmistakable smooth Yamaha voicing. A serious daily driver for someone who wants the CA sound with extra headroom.
