The Quad Modular Filter takes the cult Filterbank, the snarling, screaming, envelope-following distortion filter that producers worship, and stacks four of them into one fully patchable, wood-panelled monster. Sherman built a limited series of 100 for the world, and this is number 78, stamped on the front plate above the words MADE IN BELGIUM LIMITED SERIES. Four independent filter sections, each with its own input and MIDI channel, patch together into a ferocious 96dB mega-filter, or run four separate sources in parallel like the most dangerous mixing desk ever made. The rear panel carries a screaming face and the warning DANGEROUS FREQUENCY RANGE, WATCH YOUR SPEAKERS. Sherman were not joking.
