Roland's SRV-2000 is a 1U slice of mid-80s digital reverb that has aged into a proper character box. It pairs early digital reverb algorithms with a built-in 3-band parametric EQ, full MIDI control and programmable memories, so you can dial in everything from natural rooms to gated and non-linear effects and recall them instantly. It is especially loved on drums, where its slightly grainy texture adds vintage attitude that pristine modern reverbs cannot fake. And there is a party trick: hold the right buttons at power-on and it boots into a hidden SDE-3000 delay mode. Two classic Roland rack units in one box.

FEATURES & PROS:

  • Vintage Digital Reverb: Early-digital character that flatters drums and adds 80s grain.
  • 3-Band Parametric EQ: Shape the reverb tone built right into the unit.
  • Full MIDI Control: Recall and automate patches from your sequencer or controller.
  • Programmable Memories: Store your own settings and call them up instantly.
  • Hidden SDE-3000 Mode: A secret boot mode turns it into Roland's classic digital delay.
  • Rack-Friendly: A single 1U space in any studio rig.
