Incredible condition and with remove control- one of the true holy grails of vintage digital. The Publison Infernal Machine 90 is an exceptionally rare French multi-effects processor and sampler from 1984, a "stereo audio computer" capable of processing left and right channels with completely different effects in real time. Lush reverbs, brilliant pitch-shifting, harmonizing and sampling, all from a single legendary box used by Prince, Brian Eno, Frank Zappa and Pink Floyd. Secret-weapon status, unicorn rarity. And this example is complete: it includes the original Publison remote control, the dedicated companion unit that almost never survives alongside the machine.

FEATURES & PROS:

  • Genuine grail rarity: One of the most sought-after early digital processors ever made.
  • Complete with original remote: Ships with the rarely-surviving dedicated remote control. Finding an IM90 at all is hard enough; finding one with its remote intact is a different order of rare.
  • True stereo processing: Two independent channels, completely different effects, in real time.
  • Lush reverbs and pitch: Dozens of reverb programs plus celebrated pitch-shifting and harmonizing.
  • Also a sampler: Renowned for high-fidelity sampling and loop creation.
  • Legendary pedigree: Used by Prince (the famous 'Camille' voice), Eno, Zappa and Pink Floyd.
